First, thank you for taking the time to visit out about page. We’re staunch believers in a well maintained and relevant about page; we hope you find this one to be informative. This blog is an extension of the interactive (read: online) department of the advertising agency Stone Ward. Stone Ward is based out of Little Rock, AR, but the interactive department writing this blog is based entirely in the best city in the world, Chicago! The interactive department is:
Jason Marlin – Director of digital strategy
Jason is a die hard fan of ColdFusion (perhaps the last) and an adoring fan of Amiga, BeOS, and the retired television series The Manimal. But don’t assume that Jason lives his entire life 8 years behind everyone else. Jason spearheads our entire division and corporate direction when it comes to online marketing. His passion for content management and finding the best solutions for our clients is unparalleled. Jason rides a single speed Trek bicycle to work from Uptown, a north side neighborhood roughly 8,000 miles away from the rest of civilization.
Clint Ecker – Senior web developer
One of the most famous Clints on the Internet, he’s been deeply intertwined with the online world of web development, blogging, and social networking for over 7 years now. Outside of his own personal blog and tumblelog, Clint finds extra time to write for the seminal online technology publication, Ars Technica.
When it comes to web development, Clint is heavily biased towards Django, a Python-based development framework. Prior to his love affair with Django, Clint cut his PHP chops at CERIAS at Purdue University.
An avid fan of all things Apple, Clint has owned well over 10 iPods/iPhones, an Apple TV, several iMacs, and a Mac mini. Clint lives in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago and rides a Trek 7.3FX to work on most days.
Lee Aylward – Web developer
Lee loves the following things in this order:
- Opera Mini
- Dragons
- Perl
- Rock Band (only the drums)
Lee lives in Ukranian Village and rides a Cannondale “Road Warrior” to work.
